Addo Wildlife Count
The Addo Elephant National Park, like all reserves and parks in South Africa, have an annual animal count once a year called a census. The census involves counting all of the animal species that the National Parks board care most about. All animals in the Addo Elephant National Park are counted although not all the numbers of animals in the reserve are released to the public. You will find, in the table below, the numbers of animals that occur in the main section of the Addo Elephant National Park collected from the parks census in early 2006...
