The Chobe National Park in Botswana is a superb natural wildlife refuge and there are some great photo opportunities along the Chobe river, like I saw for myself in the photo below of an African Elephant taking a midday bath. The Chobe National Park in Botswana is renowned not only for there large numbers of African Elephants, but good numbers of mammal species like the Sable Antelope, Puku, Red Lechwe and Nile Crocodile. The Chobe National Park is also a hotspot for bird watching to go with the vast Elephant herds Botswana has to offer.  elephant swimming in the chobe river
