The Wonders Of Deep Sea Fishing In Port Elizabeth

Port Elizabeth, in the Eastern Province of South Africa, is a great fishing area and a lot of big South African fish and records come from the windy city every year. Even though places like the pier and Bluewater Bay are great angling locations, this page will talk about offshore angling in and around the waters of Port Elizabeth. There are a lot of great areas to fish in the deep here, reefs, pinnacles and big drop offs are not in short supply and many hard fighting amazing fish species can be caught in the Port Elizabeth area. The commercial and ski boat fisherman in and around the Port Elizabeth area do very well for themselves, so its always good to talk to them and find out where the fish are biting.

All sorts of fishing works off shore in this region; Trolling, Dropshot, vertical jigging, lure fishing and of course bait fishing. There are a lot of big fish around and every year in about April/May there is a big Tuna competition off these shores and a lot of big fish are caught...
