South African Fish And Fishing

South African Saltwater And Ocean Fish Species Records And Logs

South African Game Reserves Website Personal Saltwater Fishing Records

Offshore angling or saltwater fishing is very entertaining. This fishing experience holds more excitement than inland fishing as you never know what to expect. The tides are constantly changing, the fish species are always different and the water temperature is more varied than freshwater habitat. South African fishing is just a great experience regardless of the fact that you are inland or offshore. My friends, family and people associated with part of the website have been testing out the oceans of South Africa to try and catch as many saltwater fish species as possible for this fish research project. There are about 300 species that are commonly found in South Africa's ocean and hopefully sometime in the future we would have caught a few more of these fish. So listed below is the record and log of the Saltwater fishes that we have managed to land. Techniques, weight, length, location and fish species will all be included in the table as well as some other interesting information, enjoy!
