What Are These Aquatic Dwelling Creatures In The Images Below?

Southern Africa plays host to numerous fresh water fish and salt water (sea) fish species and identifying these swimming animals is not always easy... This is where we need your help! South African fish are some of the most incredible vertebrates to be seen and almost any permanent body of water in the country holds these incredible aquatic creatures. From ponds to rivers to lakes to the open ocean, there is such a variety of fish species out there. I love fish and I love fishing so every fish I catch I take a photo of and this is where the dilemma starts... About 95% of the time I can easily distinguish what fish specie I have caught but other times it is more difficult, especially if your reference material does not have pictures of the fish below...

In most of the fish pictures below I have caught the fish but there are a few images of fish swimming around in their natural habitat, good luck with trying to identify these spectacular fish species!
