All The Frogs And Allies That Occur In South Africa's KgalagadiEven though the Kalahari Gemsbok National Park is a very baron and dry region of South Africa, 5 amphibian species, that comprise of Frogs, Cacos and Toads, manage to live in the park. The life line for these amphibians are most probably the man-made pans, waterholes and boreholes. None of the amphibians that occur within the parks boundaries are common and your best chance of seeing these frogs or other amphibian species is probably in summer when the African Bullfrogs are breeding.
