All The Lookout Points And Bird Hides In The Kruger National Park South Africa
Bird Hides And Look Out Areas (Get Out Points) In The Kruger ParkSome of the most extraordinary events I have witnessed in the Kruger National Parks have been at bird hides and look-out points. Not only are these hides and look outs good places to view wildlife, but they let you experience the wilds of the Kruger Park and it also gives you the chance to get away from driving for half an hour or so. The best hide in the Kruger is the Lake Panic bird hide and so many unique events can be seen here. I once witnessed a Nile Crocodile attack and kill a Bushbuck at this hide. There are a lot of good look-out places but my favourite is Nkumbe. From this lookout you can see so far into the Kruger and Nkumbe look-out also produces regular sightings of African Cheetah, African Lion and White Rhinoceros and there is usually a Monitor Lizard or 2 hanging around Nkumbe.
