South Africa's Large Rodent Species Of Mammal

The large rodents of South Africa are made up of a variety of different species of small mammal like the Porcupine, Hedgehog, Squirrel, Springhare, Cane Rat and Dassie Rat. These species are all classed as rodents. The Porcupine is the largest rodent in South Africa and is also one of the largest rodents in the world, along with many other mammal and rodent species from various continents. There are a lot of rodent species in South Africa, these rodents are just the larger members of the South African Rodent family.
