Usually the females and young Kudu form a herd which may consist of up to 15 antelope. The males are normally solitary or found in bachelor herds of up to 5 animals. These Kudu are favoured prey species of the African Lion, Leopard, Cheetah and the African Wild Dog. Many other predators also prey  on the younger animals in the herd.
