The Greater Kudu... Amazing Images Of This Ungulate

The Greater Kudu is one of South Africa's most beautiful and amazing antelope species. The Greater Kudu is one of 2 species of Kudu's found on the African continent, the other antelope being the Lesser Kudu. Greater Kudu are gregarious animals that are found in herds. Usually the females and young Kudu form a herd which may consist of up to 15 antelope. The males are normally solitary or found in bachelor herds of up to 5 animals. These Kudu are favoured prey species of the African Lion, Leopard, Cheetah and the African Wild Dog. Many other predators also prey  on the younger animals in the herd.
