The Mole species of South Africa are made up of the Golden Mole species which are actually not at all related to Molerats! There are 5 Molerat species that occur in South Africa to go with the 14 species of Golden Mole that occur in South Africa. Not a lot of information is available or has been researched on the Golden Mole and Molerat species of South Africa and general knowledge of these Mole and Molerat species is relatively poor.
