South Africa's Doves, Pigeons and Sandgrouse

The ground-dwelling birds with short legs that occur in all habitats of South Africa include Doves (Columbidae), Pigeons (Columbidae) and Sandgrouse (Pteroclidae). These Doves, Pigeons and Sandgrouse are some of the more common birds with in their range we have in South Africa and the bird which I regard as the most common bird in South Africa also falls into this category... The Laughing Dove.
