The Gulls, Terns, Skuas, Skimmers, Sheathbills and Jaegers Of The South African Coastal And Inland Water Systems
The Estuarine Birds Of South Africa
All of these estuarine birds that occur in South Africa come from all over the world. Out of all of the South African estuarine birds, my personal favourites are the Cape Gull and the African Skimmer. South Africa once again plays host to so many varieties of water dependant birds, both inland and off-shore. The estuarine birds that will be listed below include the following: Skuas, Jaegers, Gulls, Terns, Skimmers, Kittiwakes, Sheathbills and Noddy's.
