Pipits, Longclaws And Wagtails, Kings Of The Grasslands!

South African Longclaw, Pipit And Wagtail Species

The South African birds; Pipit, Longclaw and Wagtail, all inhabit grassland or flat open areas in our wonderful country. The Pipits and Longclaws have always been known to "run" the grasslands how they want to, and so do the Wagtails. However the Wagtail species also live in Suburban regions and watery areas of South Africa. There are many Pipits and Wagtail species and only 3 Longclaw species, but all of these birds are relatively common and you should be able to witness them in the grassland biomes of South Africa.
