For most South African bird-loving people the talk about Weavers and Bishops is common and it is about the yellow and red birds that inhabit the South African wetlands and rivers. About 80% of this talk is right. Most Weavers and Bishops live close to wetlands and rivers and are shades of red and yellow, but there are a few Weavers that are not yellow and there are 2 Bishops that are not red and some of these species do not need to live close to water.
